Job Title: Wine Director

The Wine Director will oversee all aspects of our wine program, driving its success through expert curation and management.

Main Responsibilities:

• Curate and maintain a dynamic, diverse, and balanced wine list that complements our menu and reflects our standards of excellence.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless operations.
• Lead wine service during service hours, providing expert guidance to guests and ensuring exceptional customer experience.
• Train and mentor FOH staff in wine knowledge and service to drive team growth and development.
• Plan and host tastings, pairing dinners, and wine-focused events to enhance guest engagement and loyalty.
• Monitor and maintain cellar organization and stock control to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
• E nsure full compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations to mitigate risk.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve any issues promptly to maintain a high level of service.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Minimum 3-5 years of sommelier experience in a fine-dining or high-end hospitality environment.
• Certification from the Court of Master Sommeliers (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of global wine regions, producers, and vintages.
• Exceptional palate, communication skills, and table-side presence.
• Proven ability to lead, inspire, and educate a team.
• Passion for hospitality and a guest-first mindset.
