**Pastry Chef Role Summary**

  • We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to lead our pastry team and deliver exceptional desserts to our customers.

As a key member of our culinary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and preparing high-quality pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts in line with our menu standards.
  • Overseeing all orders from branches to ensure timely delivery of customer orders and customized cakes to all locations.
  • Managing kitchen inventory by ordering materials and maintaining consistent supplies to avoid shortages.
  • Collaborating with other chefs to design seasonal dessert menus, incorporating innovative techniques and flavors.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety throughout the pastry kitchen.
  • Following and complying with ISO standards in all processes.
  • Ensuring accurate manufacturing data and verifying that reported numbers match physical inventory.
  • Supervising and training junior pastry staff, promoting teamwork and creativity within the team.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant pastry kitchen environment.
  • Engaging with customers to understand their preferences and gather feedback on dessert offerings.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for culinary arts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in using a computer for order management and documentation.
  • Fluent English language skills (spoken and written).
