About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact on our organization's financial performance. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for leading cost-saving initiatives, optimizing sourcing strategies, and establishing strategic supplier relationships.
You will work closely with our finance department to ensure that procurement activities align with budget forecasts and cost-control measures. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to understand procurement needs and optimize procurement planning.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Strategy & Policy Development: Develop, implement, and oversee procurement policies, processes, and best practices to ensure efficiency and transparency.
- Vendor & Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with reliable suppliers and service providers, establishing long-term strategic supplier relationships while ensuring competitive pricing and service quality.
- Cost Optimization & Budget Control: Lead cost-saving initiatives by optimizing sourcing strategies and supplier agreements, working closely with the finance department to ensure alignment with budget forecasts and cost-control measures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field. A bachelor's or master's degree is required, as well as relevant certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, CPPM, or equivalent. You should also have 7+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a proven track record of cost reduction, budgeting, and process optimization.
A strong analytical mindset, excellent negotiation and vendor management skills, proficiency in ERP systems, procurement software, and contract management tools, are essential for this role.
