Experienced Facades Manager Needed

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facades Manager to oversee all aspects of facades projects, including steelwork, roofing, and associated works. The ideal candidate will be a leader in the field, with a strong background in facades engineering and project management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Project Execution: Manage all facets of facades projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards are met.
    • Technical & Design Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine facades designs, providing expert technical input on facades systems, materials, and installation techniques.
    • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all facades-related matters, effectively managing relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery.
    • Quality Compliance: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure all facades works comply with international standards and project specifications.
  • Budgeting and Cost Estimation: Develop and manage project budgets for facades works, providing accurate cost estimates and tracking expenditures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Safety & Standards: Ensure all facades-related activities adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and structural principles, promoting a culture of safety on-site and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
  • Sustainability: Stay abreast of the latest sustainability practices and standards, incorporating them into facades designs and execution plans where applicable.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in facades management or facades engineering within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of various facades systems, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with international facades standards.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • In-depth understanding of building codes, safety standards, and structural principles.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture.
  • Knowledge of facades sustainability practices.
  • Experience working on high-rise or complex building projects.
