Main Purpose of Job:
The primary goal of a Sales Executive is to generate revenue by actively selling insurance products or policies directly to customers. This role involves engaging with potential clients, understanding their insurance needs, and effectively presenting and promoting the insurance offerings.
Brief Description of Job FunctionThe function of a Sales Executive entails key responsibilities including generating new business opportunities, persuading potential customers to purchase insurance products or services, obtaining referrals and leads from various sources, and contributing to departmental goals.
Duties Actually Performed by this Position:- Serving customers by selling insurance products tailored to their needs
- Reaching out to individuals to solicit sales for our goods or services
- Providing recommendations on product, service, and policy changes based on results and competitive developments
- Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
- Conducting client or market surveys and documenting detailed notes regarding sales or services offered
- Delivering prepared sales talks, using scripts that describe our products or services, to persuade potential customers to make a purchase
- Explaining products or services and prices, as well as answering questions from customers
- Maintaining accurate records of contacts, accounts, and orders within our system
- Obtaining customer information such as name, address, and payment method, and entering orders into computers
- Identifying potential customers by obtaining names and telephone numbers from sources like referrals, cold calling, and other legal means
- Assisting and supporting the line manager by taking assigned tasks when necessary
- High school certification as a minimum requirement
- Diploma and relevant work experience are preferred
- Proven sales experience is essential
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent selling skills and positive energy
- A strong teamwork ethos and excellent interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of our products
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, particularly computer literacy
- Ability to persuade others to change their minds or behavior
- Excellent listening skills and ability to provide effective support to others
Normal working hours: 40 hours per week
Working timing may include rotating shifts, occasional weekend, and/or evening work
