Job Description

  • Lead and supervise end-to-end civil and structural construction activities, ensuring full compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, industry codes, and safety standards.
  • Serve as the senior liaison among consultants, contractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure alignment on project objectives and efficient issue resolution.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of daily reports, weekly progress summaries, and monthly project performance evaluations, providing strategic input to enhance outcomes.
  • Manage project schedules with a focus on identifying critical path activities, mitigating delays, and steering the project toward timely and cost-effective completion.
  • Conduct comprehensive site inspections and technical audits to ensure adherence to QA/QC protocols, statutory regulations, and engineering best practices.
  • Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and other technical documentation for compliance with contract requirements.
  • Champion Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) initiatives across the site, ensuring rigorous implementation of safety procedures and fostering a zero-incident culture.
  • Contribute to financial control processes by validating work progress, monitoring resource utilization, and supporting the preparation of cost reports and payment certifications.
  • Provide advanced technical support and mentorship to junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff, promoting continuous skill development and engineering excellence.
  • Maintain comprehensive and audit-ready project documentation, including RFIs, NCRs, approvals, inspection reports, as-built drawings, and key correspondence.
  • Represent the organization in high-level project meetings with clients, consultants, and authorities, offering clear, data-backed insights on progress and challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying design or construction inefficiencies and implementing value engineering initiatives to enhance project performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; Master's Degree is an advantage.
  • 8–12 years of progressive experience in civil project execution, with a strong track record in large-scale residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure developments.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, design coordination, QA/QC processes, and authority regulations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning tools (Primavera P6 and/or MS Project).
  • Strong understanding of contract administration, project documentation workflows, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in managing cross-functional engineering teams and subcontractors.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, results-driven mindset.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present detailed technical reports.
  • GCC experience and valid driving license are highly desirable.
