Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain coordinated Building Information Models (BIM) for Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP disciplines in compliance with project BIM standards and execution plans.
  • Support project teams by creating detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and visualizations required for design development, coordination, and construction.
  • Integrate and manage model data received from consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure consistency and alignment with overall project requirements.
  • Perform clash detection and coordination reviews using tools such as Navisworks or equivalent software, and assist in resolving design and construction conflicts.
  • Update and modify models to reflect design changes, RFIs, site adjustments, and as-built conditions, maintaining version control and revision history.
  • Generate shop drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs directly from BIM models to support engineering and construction activities.
  • Ensure that all modeling and documentation adhere to the company's BIM standards, templates, and file management protocols.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, planners, and project managers to achieve efficient design coordination and seamless project delivery.
  • Participate in BIM-related coordination meetings, presenting model updates and supporting design reviews.
  • Support digital workflows such as 4D/5D BIM integration, visualization, and data management, contributing to the continuous development of digital project delivery systems.
  • Maintain a structured digital library of BIM families, materials, and templates to support ongoing and future projects.
  • Contribute to improving BIM workflows and implementing best practices for modeling efficiency and data accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 1–4 years of experience in BIM modeling, drafting, or coordination within the construction or engineering industry (GCC experience preferred).
  • Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Ability to manage multiple modeling tasks simultaneously and deliver under strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach.
  • GCC experience will be added advantage.
