Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and develop comprehensive shop drawings and layouts for Civil, Structural, and MEP works as per project and client requirements.
  • Interpret and translate architectural and engineering designs into precise technical drawings for execution.
  • Update and revise drawings to incorporate site changes, consultant comments, and design revisions.
  • Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards, project specifications, and applicable codes.
  • Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings, coordination layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, site supervisors, and consultants to resolve drawing discrepancies.
  • Maintain a well-structured drawing register, revision log, and ensure timely submission of documents.
  • Support the project team with layout coordination, dimension verification, and detail refinement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or Architectural Engineering.
  • 1–3 years of drafting/design experience in building or infrastructure projects (GCC experience preferred).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, detailing, and MEP coordination principles.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and adherence to drawing standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple drawing tasks and deliver high-quality outputs within deadlines.
  • Good communication and coordination skills for collaboration across departments.
  • Familiarity with Bahrain's construction codes and authority requirements is an advantage.
