We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant with approximately 5 years of experience to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure accurate record-keeping, and support the month-end and year-end closing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, solid knowledge of accounting principles, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations including AP, AR, GL entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, invoices, receipts, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Perform bank, vendor, and account reconciliations on a regular basis.
  • Process payments, monitor expenditures, and track company expenses.
  • Prepare VAT submissions, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and maintain related documentation.
  • Support preparation of financial statements, management reports, and analysis.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors during audits.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory and fixed asset records.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial data and ensure all accounting procedures follow company policies and IFRS standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance or related field.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar) and MS Excel.
  • Experience with VAT compliance (GCC experience is an advantage).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
