Company Overview:

The Supreme Council for Women (SCW), established on August 22, 2001, is the national reference authority for all official matters related to women's affairs in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Chaired by Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, the Council consists of 16+ distinguished female leaders representing diverse sectors. SCW advises on policies, legislation, and national strategies concerning women's empowerment and equality, and is consulted by all official entities on decisions related to women's affairs.

Role Summary:

As Head of Information Security, I lead the organization's information and cybersecurity program, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data across all systems. I develop and enforce security policies, risk management frameworks, and business continuity plans, while driving compliance with national and international security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with ISO 27001 standards.

• Oversee cybersecurity operations, including threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.

• Ensure data privacy and protection in accordance with Bahrain's personal data protection laws.

• Manage security awareness programs and staff training to strengthen organizational resilience.

• Lead business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives to ensure operational readiness.

• Collaborate with IT and executive management to align security strategy with organizational goals.

• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews across all departments.
