Job Description
Sika Gulf is seeking a motivated and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our Bahrain team. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for promoting Sika's products, developing customer relationships, and driving sales in the construction and building materials sector. This role combines technical expertise with strong sales skills to provide effective solutions to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, distributors, architects, and engineers in the building and construction sector.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, helping them select and apply Sika products correctly.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads.
- Prepare technical proposals, product presentations, and cost estimates for clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to promote products and solutions.
- Ensure timely follow-up on inquiries, quotations, and customer requests.
- Monitor market trends, competitor products, and customer feedback to support business development strategies.
- Conduct site visits to ensure proper product application and customer satisfaction.
- Achieve or exceed individual sales targets in alignment with company goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction or building materials sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction processes and materials.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and identify growth opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
