About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled
Sous Chef
specializing in
Continental Cuisine
to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and preparing a diverse range of continental dishes.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety.
  • Monitor inventory and assist in ordering supplies.
  • Innovate and contribute to menu development.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a continental kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of European cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for food and creativity in presentation.
