About Us:
We are an ambitious and fast-growing restaurant in Bahrain offering a unique mix of local Bahraini favorites, authentic Chinese dishes, and international cuisine. With a strong commitment to excellence, we are looking for a Sous Chef to join our culinary team and play a key role in our continued success.
The Role:
As a Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, leading the team, and ensuring every dish is crafted with quality, consistency, and creativity. This is a hands-on leadership position with room to grow into more senior roles within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and daily specials
Supervise and train kitchen staff
Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
Manage inventory, stock levels, and food cost control
Ensure compliance with hygiene, health, and HACCP standards
Take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
What We're Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a busy restaurant
• Strong culinary skills across multiple cuisines (local, Chinese, and international)
• Leadership, teamwork, and excellent communication skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure during peak hours
• Solid knowledge of hygiene, food safety, and cost control practices
