Job Responsibility:

  • Provide onsite and remote technical support for Yokogawa's DCS (CENTUM), SCADA, and ESD systems at customer facilities.
  • Support the commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades of automation systems and field instruments.
  • Handle service requests and ensure timely resolution to maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Liaise with EPC contractors during project execution to ensure Yokogawa solutions are properly implemented.
  • Assist the sales team by identifying service opportunities, preparing technical proposals, and attending pre-sales meetings.
  • Conduct customer training and knowledge transfer on Yokogawa systems and instruments.
  • Maintain detailed service records and ensure compliance with internal QA/QC and HSE standards.
  • Coordinate with regional and global technical support teams when needed.

Job Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
  • Minimum 8–9 years of experience in service engineering, particularly in DCS/SCADA/ESD systems and field instruments.
  • Strong knowledge of Yokogawa products (preferred) or similar systems from other major automation vendors.
  • Good understanding of industrial automation standards and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus).
  • Experience working with EPCs and end users in oil & gas, power, or industrial sectors.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally abroad for service jobs.

Job Skills & Competencies:

  • Hands-on experience with Yokogawa CENTUM VP, ProSafe-RS, FAST/TOOLS, and field instruments.
  • Strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure.
