As a Tapster you will:

  • Own the vision, roadmap, and prioritization for the Checkout SDK on Web (React Native), iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin).
  • Define and track KPIs for adoption, reliability, and performance.
  • Benchmark and analyze other players' SDKs and APIs (Stripe, Adyen, Braintree, etc.) to identify competitive advantages.
  • Work closely with engineering to design and validate SDK architecture, APIs, and integration flows.
  • Ensure SDKs are developer-friendly, secure, and scalable.
  • Drive initiatives to improve the developer experience through documentation, sample apps, and support tooling.
  • Incorporate industry best practices in payment processing, tokenization, and compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS, SCA).
  • Monitor regulatory changes and payment trends that impact product strategy.
  • Lead agile ceremonies (backlog grooming, sprint planning, reviews).
  • Maintain clear documentation and progress tracking in Jira.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver releases on time and within scope.
  • Gather and prioritize requirements from internal teams, merchants, and partners.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for SDK technical queries and escalations.
  • Provide product training and support for client-facing teams.

What you will bring to the party:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management for technical products, ideally SDKs, APIs, or developer tools.
  • React Native and JavaScript ecosystems.
  • Native mobile development (Swift and Kotlin).
  • API design and developer workflows.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and versioning for SDK releases.
  • Proven experience in payment processing, checkout flows, and payment security.
  • Understanding of fintech ecosystem players and their SDK approaches.
  • Proficient in Agile methodologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience integrating with multiple payment gateways.
  • Prior engineering experience developing SDKs or APIs.
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS compliance processes
