Sales Engineer

Our client is a start-up construction and trading company that offer a wide range of services, and are committed to providing their clients with a client-focused approach. They are currently looking for a Sales Engineer to be based in Bahrain.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets for cement or steel manufacturing products and solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers through regular communication and visits to understand their needs and requirements.Conduct technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our cement or steel manufacturing offerings, addressing customer concerns and objections.Collaborate with the engineering and product development teams to provide technical input and support in the development of customized solutions to meet specific customer requirements.Prepare and deliver accurate and timely sales proposals, quotations, and contracts in collaboration with the sales and operations teams.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.Provide technical guidance and support to customers during the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of our cement or steel manufacturing products.Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and marketing initiatives to drive sales growth.Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, customer profiles, and sales forecasts using the company's CRM system.Stay abreast of the latest advancements and innovations in cement or steel manufacturing technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements to enhance technical knowledge and expertise.Qualification & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales engineering, preferably in the cement or steel or mining manufacturing industry.In-depth technical knowledge and understanding of cement or steel manufacturing processes, equipment, and technologies.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a technical sales role.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish rapport and credibility with customers.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to manage customer relationships and sales activities.Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.Valid driver's license and passport.75% of the job will involve traveling around the regionBahraini nations only
