Aspire Global Human Resource has partnered with a leading hotel property in Bahrain to find a dynamic Restaurant General Manager for one of the most exciting BBQ dining concepts in the region.

As Restaurant General Manager, you will lead and oversee the end-to-end operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience. You'll be responsible for driving service excellence, fostering a high-performance team culture, and optimizing financial results through strategic planning and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations, food & beverage quality, and guest experience
  • Manage and support department heads with scheduling, training, and team performance
  • Drive financial goals, budgets, and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Lead marketing initiatives, promotions, and menu development with the Head Chef
  • Conduct regular team meetings, appraisals, and training programs
  • Maintain proper housekeeping, maintenance, and operational standards
  • Oversee staffing, interviews, payroll, and succession planning
  • Foster a positive team culture, upholding the company values
  • Monitor competitor trends and adapt strategies accordingly

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Management and/or supervisory Food and Beverage experience
  • Able to meet financial targets
  • Ability to comply with all Food and Beverage brand standards
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Willingness to develop team members and self
  • Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations

Qualifications:

  • Extensive Food & Beverage Experience in upscale barbecue dining environments.
  • Strong leadership skills to manage large, diverse teams across shifts.
  • Financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Guest-Centric Approach with proven success in service excellence
