Minimum Qualifications Summary

Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas.

Must meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element management certification requirements available under OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD Instruction , and Air Force Manual

Must complete an in-scope (per current DoD 6-year reinvestigation requirement), favorable ST5 investigation (including SBPR, PPR, T5R, or current enrollment in the DoD CE/CV program), adjudicated for SCI eligibility by the DoD CAF without conditions, exceptions, or waivers at the time of performance, and maintain the security level for the contract duration.

Minimum qualification level per SECNAV M-5239.2; qualifications should match the proficiency level of work.

Must possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance.

Experience Required

Preferred: prior experience and operational knowledge of USMC C4ISR equipment.

Specialized knowledge of USMC C4ISR operation, technical processes, maintenance requirements, systems, networks, and advanced operational techniques.

At least five years of military experience.

Job Objective

Support the US Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands under a five-year contract. The role includes providing professional services for MARCENT located at MacDill AFB, Florida, supporting the 5th MEB in Bahrain, which conducts tactical command and control within CENTCOM's AOR.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze complex problems to provide local IT SME support for MARCENT readiness in TS/SCI environment.
  • Perform recurring services for USMC C4ISR systems worldwide within the USMARCENT AOR.
  • Provide technical and mentoring support for USMC C4ISR systems.
  • Support users and maintainers, offering knowledge of operation, technical processes, and maintenance requirements.
  • Recommend C4ISR architecture modifications to support operational or training needs.
  • Assist in implementing technical processes, optimizing equipment and network resources, and diagnosing maintenance issues.
  • Help prepare procedures, demonstrate advanced capabilities, and monitor equipment performance.
Ancillary Support

Assist with network configuration, backup, security devices, cable installation, system troubleshooting, and other IT support tasks listed in detail.

Education & Certification
  • Must have a current US Passport for overseas travel.
  • Meet COMSEC, Local Element management certifications, and security clearance requirements.
  • Minimum qualification per SECNAV M-5239.2; qualifications aligned with work proficiency.
Secret Clearance
  • Must possess TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Work Location
  • 5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade, Task Force 51/5, NAVSUP Bahrain, Manama, Bahrain.
  • Willingness to support travel to various countries within CENTCOM AOR on short notice.
