Firefighter will participate in duties of protecting life and property and firefighting/rescue operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide fire protection services to ensure adequate, proficient, and prompt response to all fire protection dispatch calls to treat injuries and minimize loss of life and damage to property.
  • Perform structural, crash, confine space rescue procedures and participate in the department's established fire training programs to gain additional experience in firefighting/rescue operations.
  • Proficiently operate fire apparatus and related equipment.
  • Clean, wash, test apparatus, hang hoses, and polish vehicles.
  • Complete and submit Fire Protection Response reports as specified by NFIRS within required timelines.
  • Work on Bahraini and U.S. holidays as required.
  • Obtain and maintain Medical Certification to perform the job.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by Supervisor.
