Specialist HR Operations (Recruitment) at stc Bahrain *Job Objective:
stc Pay Bahrain is looking for a dynamic and people-centric HR Generalist to serve as the go-to HR partner across the organization. This role will be the first point of contact for HR matters, playing a pivotal part in fostering a positive employee experience while ensuring HR processes run smoothly.
The incumbent will collaborate closely with recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations teams, helping support and grow our people-first culture in a fast-paced, fintech environment.
Job Specifications:
- Primary HR Contact: Act as the main point of contact for all HR-related queries within stc Pay, ensuring timely and effective support for employees and managers.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Collaborate with recruitment teams to support hiring, onboarding, and orientation processes for new employees.
- Payroll & Benefits: Lead and execute the monthly payroll cycle and oversee employee benefits administration in coordination with relevant teams.
- Employee Relations: Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees or between staff and management with professionalism and discretion.
- Time & Attendance: Responsible for monitoring and administration of time and attendance for all stc Pay staff
- Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including personnel files and the employee database.
- HR Operations Support: Support with ad-hoc internal and external HR issues, ensuring compliance and alignment with labor laws and company values.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR administrative role
- Strong knowledge of Bahrain labor law and HR best practices
- Experience of working in a fintech environment (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and HR information systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- High attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- A proactive, people-first attitude with strong communication skills in both English and Arabic
