Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic QS/Sales Engineer to support our interior fit-out projects,
specializing in gypsum-based solutions and modular interior systems. The ideal candidate
will bridge the gap between technical project requirements and client needs, ensuring
cost-eƯective solutions and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical & Quantity Surveying:
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and BOQs for gypsum partitions, ceilings,
and modular fit-out components.
Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine material requirements
and labor costs.
Monitor project expenditures and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints.
Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotations and contracts.
Sales & Business Development:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the fit-out sector.
Develop and maintain relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, and
clients.
Present and promote gypsum products and modular systems to potential clients,
highlighting their benefits and applications.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and
strategies.
Project Coordination:
Liaise between clients and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any on-site challenges.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil / Mech Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a
related field.
1–3 years of experience in quantity surveying or sales engineering within the fit-out
Familiarity with gypsum products, modular interior systems, and fit-out processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft office Suite and relevant QS software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit,
or similar).
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driving license.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with modular construction techniques and sustainable building
practices.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Bahrain.
