Job Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Risk Management function as Chief Risk Officer (CRO) within a licensed financial entity. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive risk management framework, and ensuring that all key risks—operational, financial, regulatory, and strategic—are proactively identified and mitigated.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain a robust risk management framework.
  • Identify, assess, and monitor risks across the organization.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
  • Ensure full regulatory compliance and interface with regulatory authorities.
  • Deliver risk insights and reporting to senior leadership and board committees.
  • Collaborate with business unit heads to enhance risk culture and improve decision-making.
  • Provide ongoing support and recommendations to improve business quality and risk posture.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in risk management within a licensed financial institution or bank.
  • Proven expertise in managing risks across multiple domains: credit, operational, market, liquidity, and regulatory.
  • Experience with regulatory bodies, audits, and compliance reviews.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, postgraduate qualification is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent are mandatory.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
