Operations Manager (F&B) - Alzayani Investments

Alzayani Investments is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our expanding coffee chain in Bahrain. This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and growing brand. The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our coffee shops, maintaining high standards of quality and customer service, and driving profitability.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the team, ensuring all stores are resourced with trained staff.
  • Deliver a world-class customer experience across all stores.
  • Maintain brand standards.
  • Increase sales to meet targets and drive L4L sales.
  • Manage P&L performance, achieving budgeted ratios.
  • Monitor goals and targets, act on deviations, and update forecasts.
  • Analyze projects financially and commercially, providing recommendations.
  • Utilize tools and reports like Commercial Review, CSI, Food Safety Audit to develop the business and team.
  • Ensure compliance with company manuals, rules, and guidelines.
  • Communicate and promote company goals within the organization.
  • Ensure legal and policy compliance regarding food safety, HACCP, and labeling.
  • Oversee compliance with legislative and company quality and environment standards.
  • Define commercial strategies for retail ranges, including pricing, sourcing, and supply standards.
  • Sign off staff training materials and align with operational teams and store managers.
  • Train and coach store managers through JRMS.
  • Support sites with functional questions, ensuring adherence to company concepts and manuals.
  • Create and implement pricing strategies based on guidelines.
  • Supervise local competition and monitor market trends.
  • Ensure local legal compliance and safety standards.
  • Manage end-to-end BOH & FOH supply chain processes.
  • Maintain operational controls and target wastage at 1%.
Qualifications
  • Proven 5-7 years experience in operations management, preferably in F&B.
  • Relevant diploma or education.
  • Strong P&L management skills to drive profit.
  • Experience leading a diverse team of experts.
  • Proven excellence in customer service and brand standards.
  • Supply chain management experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of F&B business drives, safety, and health regulations.
