Job Description

• Own the category management responsibilities, including assortments, pricing, offers, and supply chain.
• Monitor the economic performance of assigned categories, focusing on sales, gross margin, profit and loss, aligning with company strategies.
• Implement commercial strategies and guidelines, including category plans and pricing strategies.
• Provide input to operations regarding workflows, tools, templates, and fixtures.
• Manage supplier relationships and resolve issues effectively.

Role Scope

• Oversee Import and Private Label segments, enhance product assortments, and collaborate with local manufacturers on Private Label projects.
• Ensure cost efficiency and meet consumer needs/wants.
• Define and maintain assortments, including basic and regional/international product requirements.
• Provide regional teams with product and quantity information for contracts.

Pricing and Promotions

• Set prices based on guidelines and recommended prices for private label and imported items.
• Conduct market price audits and gather competitive pricing data.
• Identify promotional products, price them, and coordinate forecasting and reordering.
• Develop promotion calendars and oversee execution of promotional activities.
• Analyze trends, consumer preferences, and competitors to optimize promotions.

Candidate Profile

• Over 5 years of experience in Import operations and Supply Chain within FMCG.
• Experience in team leadership and cross-functional project management.
• Highly detail-oriented, structured, and solution-focused.
• Willing to perform various tasks, including warehouse or customer service roles, as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior executives and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with tools, especially Excel.
• Interpersonal and intercultural skills, with the ability to motivate teams.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
