About the RoleThe responsibilities of a Data Analytics Trainee include analyzing large amounts of raw information to find patterns and analyzing trends to make better business decisions.
Main Responsibilities & Duties- Assist the team in undertaking data collection, preprocessing and analysis.
- Support in building models to address a variety of business problems.
- Present and display information using different data visualization techniques.
- Support in analyzing large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
- Assist in mining and analyzing data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Support in developing custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
- Support the team in the development, implementation, and maintenance of databases.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of R, SQL, and Python.
- Familiarity with Scala, Java or C++.
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau).
- Proven ability to work with others successfully within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to liaise effectively and coordinate successfully with internal and external stakeholders and other third parties.
- Strong understanding of the operational workings of data analytics elements.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and time management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or any other related field.
0-2 years' experience.
