Job Responsibilities
  1. Process lease signing in accordance with organizational objectives.
  2. Monitor audit and compliance requirements, ensuring continuous adherence.
  3. Manage daily activities within your geographical area to support real estate operations in existing and new portfolios.
  4. Oversee the retail store lease portfolio and supervise direct reports where applicable.
  5. Mitigate business risks by reviewing contract conditions and supporting the real estate team in negotiating favorable clauses with landlords.
  6. Maintain detailed knowledge of local governmental procedures to ensure compliance with authorities.
  7. Review and sign all new store and renewal contracts, along with lease actions.
  8. Assist in lease preparation, ensuring alignment with Americana policies and key lease conditions.
  9. Support legal case tracking and management.
  10. Maintain accurate audit trails and document decisions related to each deal.
  11. Manage payment procedures to prevent breaches.
  12. Monitor and report on lease signing forecasts monthly.
  13. Proactively track critical dates (renewals, kickouts, terminations, expirations) for existing stores and update management regularly.
  14. Address upcoming critical dates with management promptly and follow through on decisions.
  15. Draft or review lease amendments and termination agreements.
  16. Develop and implement procedures to maintain lease database integrity.
  17. Generate reports from the lease database system.
  18. Coordinate with landlords to ensure timely receipt of executed lease agreements and documentation.
  19. Collaborate on high-profile projects requiring special attention.
  20. Manage, train, and develop team members within your market.
  21. Support Americana's Restaurant Division initiatives and change management efforts.
  22. Recommend policies and procedures for continual service improvement.
  23. Ensure standards are met and maintained across operations.
  24. Execute special projects as assigned by the line manager.
  25. Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills

Education:

  • University Degree.
  • Legal knowledge is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, including understanding legal terminology.

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial real estate.
  • Knowledge of legal lease language and local real estate regulations.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong compliance and quality checking skills.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and adapt to meet objectives.
  • Experience in business process re-engineering and real estate system implementation.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Leadership capabilities and client relationship management skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex lease language and solve problems collaboratively.
