This role oversees the management of fixed assets, inventory, and leases, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance with regulations, and optimal utilization.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Fixed Assets Management
    • Maintain a comprehensive register of all fixed assets, accurately recording acquisitions, disposals, and transfers.
    • Evaluate depreciation according to company policies and accounting standards, ensuring timely recognition and allocation.
    • Collaborate with operations teams to prepare capital expenditure budgets and forecasts, promoting informed decision-making.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders for timely capitalization of fixed assets, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Inventory Management
    • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness, identifying areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to forecast inventory needs, preventing overstocking or stockouts.
    • Implement and monitor internal controls over inventory management and provisions, maintaining data integrity.

    • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in fixed assets, inventory, and lease management, driving business growth.
  • Collaboration and Support
    • Provide support to finance and accounting teams in relation to fixed assets, inventory, and leases, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment and accuracy in asset and inventory management, promoting a culture of transparency.
    • Train and guide staff on processes related to fixed assets, inventory, and leases, enhancing skills and competencies.
    Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
    • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, demonstrating expertise and leadership.
