Join Our Team

We are seeking a passionate Front Desk Receptionist who embodies excellence and enthusiasm. This role offers the opportunity to shape the guest experience through exceptional service at our renowned hotel.

The Key Responsibilities of the Front Desk Receptionist
  1. Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor in all interactions with guests, patrons, and colleagues.
  2. Welcome and register guests, fulfilling requests, following special instructions, and adhering to credit policies.
  3. Handle multiple keys efficiently.
  4. Quote and be familiar with room availability and rates for current and future dates.
  5. Manage reservations, changes, and cancellations in the absence of reservations staff.
  6. Assign rooms, pre-register guests, and assist VIPs and returning guests.
  7. Coordinate with Concierge staff for guest luggage and requests.
  8. Address guest problems or complaints professionally.
  9. Utilize the computer system for reports and special requests.
  10. Keep support departments informed of guest needs.
  11. Handle safety deposit box requests and procedures.
  12. Complete key packets, vouchers, and modify registration cards.
  13. Check guests out, process payments, and handle foreign currency exchanges.
  14. Maintain a balanced cash bank and reconcile transactions at shift end.
  15. Know hotel facilities hours and service codes.
  16. Understand roles of other front office staff.
  17. Handle emergency procedures professionally.
  18. Perform as night receptionist and assist with night audits.
  19. Perform delegated tasks from management.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  1. Previous Front Desk experience, preferably in luxury settings.
  2. Willingness to work rotating shifts.
  3. Strong communication skills and adaptability.
  4. Customer service experience and ability to work under pressure.
  5. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  6. Teamwork ability.
  7. Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  8. Excellent computer skills, especially Excel; knowledge of OPERA or similar PMS and cashiering experience preferred.
