Restaurant Manager

Job brief:
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for an Italian fine dining restaurant to oversee all aspects of the business. The successful candidate will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth restaurant operations following the General Manager's directives.
- Guide employees to adhere to restaurant standards.
- Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties and tasks, following operational standards.
- Supervise opening, interval, and closing duties for FOH departments.
- Set performance goals, including training and briefings on policies.
Operations:
- Support the team in understanding performance metrics, targets, and goals.
- Schedule work hours and shifts.
- Share company updates, financial results, and new objectives.
- Assist management in resolving emergencies such as quality or customer issues.
- Support team retention through 'one-to-one' meetings and appraisals.
- Participate in hiring and firing activities.
Skills and Requirements:
- Proven experience in Italian cuisine as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, or Hospitality Manager.
- BSc degree in Business Administration or Hospitality Management.
- Ability to support management decisions.
- Strong communication skills with guests and departments.
- Leadership qualities that foster open communication.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to manage conflicts effectively and develop successful relationships.
