VAM Systems is currently looking for Data Management Specialist for our Bahrain operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Statistics or other relevant field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP or PMP) are a plus.

Experience

3+ years of experience in data management, data governance, analytics, or business intelligence, with a proven track record in managing data related projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist in implementing the data governance policies and frameworks to enhance data integrity, security, and compliance, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  2. Develop and maintain critical documentation, including SOPs, transformation logic, metadata management, and the business data glossary.
  3. Work closely with Technology to design, implement, and enhance data warehouses, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines, and analytics tools.
  4. Perform regular data quality assessments to identify data anomalies or issues, and collaborate with the Technology team to resolve them.
  5. Collaborate with Technology to implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
  6. Support data management projects led in-house or in collaboration with third-party consultants or vendors, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  7. Oversee projects initiated by Technology in collaboration with Data Management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and data strategies.
  8. Work with business units to gather data requirements and recommend improvements.
  9. Stay updated on emerging trends in data management and analytics, AI, and governance frameworks, integrating best practices into the organization.
  10. Assist in conducting training sessions on data literacy for internal teams.
