**Job Title: Sales Director**We have been retained by this International Hotel group to find them a strong Sales Director. As such, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic Sales and Marketing Plans and initiatives that maximize profitability for the hotel in order to achieve budget, revenue and market share targets. About This Role Lead the development and execution of strategic Sales and Marketing Plans and initiatives to maximize profitability for the hotel. Responsible for achieving budget, revenue, and market share targets. Requirements A four-year college degree is preferred; additional/advanced degree coursework in business administration, marketing, and communications is a plus. Operations/sales leadership experience in International Hotel Brands; preferably 10+ years. Comparable hotel size and scope experience is preferred. GCC experience, if not Bahrain experience, is essential for this position. A proven track record of successes in achieving revenue objectives. A proven ability to recruit, motivate, and train sales teams. Extensive knowledge of marketing, negotiating, and sales procedures associated with the hotel industry. Excellent spoken and presentation skills, fluent in English. An ability to work effectively both independently and as a team. An ability to delegate, manage, and organize complex projects and establish priorities consistent with department/hotel objectives. An ability to effectively deal with department heads, customers, and team members, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy. An ability to manage multiple projects, meet, and work effectively under time and resource constraints. An ability to effectively lead a team of professionals.
