**Scope**:
Responsible for all aspects of plant engineering such as and not limited to providing technical reviews, optimization of plant process and equipment, plant performance through data evaluation, trending and analysis. Additionally, ensure the DCS functions for all safety and process control systems, lead all shutdown coordination and execution and manage plant projects that require construction and commissioning. Guarantee all inspection and testing and adherence to the asset integrity plan

**Principle duties and responsibilities**:
Develop performance metrics to ensure all plant performance is measured, corrected and reported by ensuring that all necessary data is captured, organized and visualized in order to have real time understanding of the physical state of the plant
Manage and share necessary reports with the Asset Team, Engineering and Management to comprehend the production and equipment status. Reports should identify trends and efficiency management which should be supported by comprehensive KPIs and shared with the Plant Manager on a regular basis
Coordinate and maintain the Operating Envelope and Asset Integrity Plan
Participate in maintenance planning, troubleshooting and plant modification
Control the engineering changes through the Management of Change (MoC) procedure. Take ownership of the MoC process and records and ensure it is proactive in plant optimization
Review and edit technical reports, service reports and technical manuals in addition to drafting and editing technical and operating procedures as required
Ensure documentation and drawings are kept up to date following changes in plant equipment and procedures
Support supply chain RFQ's technical queries and engineering information as required
Provide technical, configuration and on call DCS support to process operations, plant operations and maintenance
Implement control strategies to optimize process and safety control systems
Ensure that the metering, and all end devices that provide data through the DCS into the data historian is accurate and used for fiscal and production reporting purposes

Provide operator and technician training as required to keep all staff familiar with the process controls and DCS system
Comply with all Enerflex HR, Quality, HSE, and all the Company policies, procedures, processes, work instructions and guidelines
Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor / Manager

**Job specifications**:
Minimum a Bachelor or Technical degree in Engineering
Minimum 5 years of supervisory/lead experience in a similar roles in the Gas sector
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Remote site working conditions, noisy environment, hot and humid climate, vibrating platforms, long working hours and different shifts schedules. Available on call
Able to work under pressure on multiple tasks with the team in developing improved work processes for the department
Computer proficiency is required. Good working knowledge of typical Microsoft suite of software is required
Trained and competent to assume stand-in of O&M Lead when required
Motivated, team player, able to work within a diverse cultural environment and supervise a team
Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

**Working conditions**:
Remote site working conditions, hot and humid climate, long working hours, on call after hours
