Truck-mounted Crane Operator and Driver

**Responsibilities**:
1. Crane Operation:
- Operate truck-mounted cranes to lift, move, and position loads as required.
- Ensure safe and precise handling of loads, adhering to load charts and safety
regulations.
**2. Driving**:
- Drive the truck to various job sites, ensuring timely and safe transportation of the
crane and associated equipment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper
working condition.
**3. Maintenance**:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections of the crane and truck.
- Identify and report any mechanical issues to ensure timely repairs and mínimal
downtime.
**4. Safety Compliance**:
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and ensure safety of the
surrounding area during crane operations.
**5. Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate records of crane operations, including load details, hours of
operation, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a
timely manner.
**6. Collaboration**:
- Work closely with site supervisors, riggers, and other team members to
coordinate lifting operations.
- Communicate effectively to ensure smooth and efficient crane operations.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Relevant certifications for crane operation and heavy vehicle driving.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating truck-mounted cranes.
- Valid heavy vehicle driver's license and crane operator certification.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in operating truck-mounted cranes and heavy vehicles.
- Strong understanding of load charts, crane dynamics, and safe lifting practices.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and diagrams.
**Additional Requirements**:
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: BD140.000 - BD160.000 per month
