Legal Officer

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for reviewing contracts, agreements, documents
- Identifying and analyzing legal issues.
- Negotiating and drafting key documents (including all powers of attorney and delegations of authority); writing, reviewing, and editing reports, opinions, correspondence, articles, and other documents, presenting clear recommendations on legal matters.
- To provide legal advice on all issues affecting the business including, but not limited to, government contracts, third party commercial contracts, fiscal law, and corporate records management, preparing and submitting reports on a periodic basis.
- Participates in negotiations, assures that the negotiating representatives are duly empowered. assist in drafting negotiation minutes and prepares and advises on all types of contracts to be executed by the company.
- Provides recommendations to the business heads on particular legal tasks that should be outsourced to any outside counsel and advises them in anticipating and guarding against legal risks facing the organization.
- To ensure legal compliance with the applicable laws and regulations and to identify any problems encountered with legal compliance and the recommended solutions.
- Assist in managing the legal issues and advises on employment matters, including drafting, negotiating and administering employment agreements.
- Coordinates with and represents with business partners, representatives of the Government bodies, including ministries and other public agencies, regarding the legal matters.
- Provide assistance in coordination of the relationship with outside counsel.
- Provide support in issuance of instructions; monitoring of performance and quality; cost efficiencies; and endorsement of invoices of such outside counsel for final approval by the CFO.
- Provides required inputs/support to legal counsel before courts and in arbitral proceedings, where appropriate, and coordinates in preparation, reviewing the claims submitted in legal cases.
- Performs such other duties and exercise due diligence and skill that are commonly incidental to the office of legal counsel, as well as such other duties that shall be assigned from time to time by the CFO.
**Requirements**:
- Bahraini National.
- 4-5 years experience.
- **Law Degree**: a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.).
- **Practical Experience**: Experience in drafting legal documents, advising on legal issues, and representing clients or organizations in legal matters.
- **Understanding of Relevant Laws and Regulations**: Deep knowledge of the laws and regulations applicable to the specific area of practice or industry.
