**Electrician’s Assistant**

**Core Objectives**: Provide support and assistance to one or more skilled electricians. General work includes assisting the electrician with site preparation, clearance, maintaining site tidiness, and performing tasks related to electrical installations, inspections, diagnosing faults, testing, repair, and maintenance.

**Main Tasks/Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the installation of electrical systems, including wiring, switchboards, and other components, under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and prevent hazards.
- Assist with storage, lifting, fetching supplies, unloading, and checking deliveries.
- Identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs to ensure compliance with codes, laws, working practices, and health and safety.
- Collaborate with the line manager and other site workers to perform tasks as required.
- Work using your own initiative within agreed roles.
- Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work.
- Report problems or failures promptly to the line manager.
- Contribute to team targets and the smooth running of the organization.

**Hours**: Usual working hours are from 8 am to 4 pm, with flexibility as needed to meet team requirements.

Pay: BD100.000 - BD250.000 per year

License/Certification:

- EWA WIREMAN LICENSE (required)
