1. Main responsibility of Purchase manager depends on Budgeting, planning, control of cost, training & coaching, setting objectives, effective and efficient communication with all the employees in a professional manner.
2. Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipments in a timely and cost effective way; timely manner while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
3. Manage and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets.
4. Monitor and approve the purchase requisitions & purchase orders in accordance with company policy & negotiated terms & conditions.
5. Identify potential suppliers, evaluate & Interview them to determine quality, price, and reliability & delivery term and make decisions to ensure that needed suppliers arrive in time and at price that supports the organization objectives.
6. Responsible for maintaining a good relationship with key suppliers and customers.
7. Developing accurate material specification data sheet for equipment & product procured.
8. Coordinate with accounts department to ensure accurate & timely payment of invoices as necessary for the business with the suppliers.
9. Monitor, Maintain and approve proper records of the supplier assessments and the audit reports.
10. Conducting supplier assessment / supplier audit and verifying, whether the materials procured are in compliance with the company and QMS standards.
11. Coordinate with quality department and conduct frequent audits at the supplier end (raw material) advice in developing, reviewing and implementing the process as per the standards and come out with proper corrective action for non-conformities.
12. Setting KPI for individual employee in the department and conduct assessment test & analyze the areas of improvement, take action plan for the same and report the same to the HR department.
13. Meeting the monthly KPI, come out with acceptable action plan in case of any failure in the production delay, on time delivery delay and deviation in the final product and report it to the top management.
14. Utilizing the IT department/ERP system and making the different modules of strategy for procurement management and systematic development.
