Manama, Bahrain US Secretary of the Navy Offices (SECNAV) Full time

**Duties**:

- You will independently conduct highly complex field counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and force protection or law enforcement information collection initiatives within the cyber domain.
- You will analyze, evaluate and integrate complex data from multiple sources to assess the relevance and significance of developments in your assigned area(s).
- You will produce professional-level investigative and intelligence information reports disseminated to national level officials.
- You will plan and coordinate intelligence activities, resolve conflicts, and interpret existing policy(s) to make technical or operational decisions necessary, process all-source materials, and produce innovative analyses.
- You will maintain liaison with US technical, political and military specialists with expertise in issues requiring NCIS or Department of the Navy attention.
- You will review emerging technologies, trends, and methodologies in order to ensure that intelligence production remains current, efficient, and relevant.
- You will conduct research through classified and unclassified publications and available US government intelligence and law enforcement web-based communications systems.
- You will develop written and oral intelligence products for presentation to internal and external customers.
- You will conduct log analysis, interpret cyber forensic reports, collect/preserve critical evidence from large data sets, and conducti intrusion identification interpret and consult on assigned counterterrorism and criminal intelligence issues.
- You will develop, plan, de-conflict, and execute collection strategies in a cyber-environment.

- This position may require travel to places within and outside the contiguous United States which could include remote or isolated sites. You may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- If eligible for permanent change of station, the appointee will be required to sign a transportation agreement to establish a Government time in service requirement of 12 months.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Passport.
- May be required to obtain a VISA dependent on the overseas country's laws/regulations.
- You will be required to sign the Statement of Understanding for Overseas Employment acknowledging receipt and understanding of the statement of living and working conditions for this location.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (SCI) security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- Relocation expenses (i.e. PCS) may be authorized in accordance with applicable travel regulations
- DLPT 3/3 Arabic language skills (speaking and listening) or equivalent (required).

**Qualifications**:

- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade GG-12 level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating complex counterterrorism, counterintelligence, and/or criminal intelligence issues relating to political, social, cultural, geographic, or technical issues.
