Our Client, a multinational Company, is assessing one of its suppliers in Bahrain.
We are looking to strengthen its operational excellence with the support of "boots on the ground" Project Managers, capable of securing production and preserving the integrity of his products.
We are offering a 6-month contract, renewable for periods of 3 months.
**Job Objective**:
A qualified and experienced Project Manager to manage a project from post tender stage to the completion of contract to the satisfaction of the customer within the contractual framework agreed.
To ensure that project goals are planned, relevant project documentation is maintained and that the project is executed on time to the defined specification and to the defined quality. To set project budgets and to monitor costs. Continually improve on all aspects of the project until its closure
**Key responsibilities and duties**
- Integration Management:
Ø Negotiations and agreement with customer on the technical and commercial terms and conditions. (Tech Specification closure)
Ø Review contracts and handle contractual issues.
Ø To develop Project team, allocate roles and responsibilities of team members. Project Kick off
- Scope Management:
Ø Define the scope of the Project and freeze all boundaries of Project.
Ø Plan internally for deliveries, material availability, quality documents etc..
Ø Negotiate and amend the contract in conjunction with the customer.
- Time Management:
Ø Micro planning of Project Milestones.
Ø Work Breakdown structure. (WBS).
Ø Activity sequences, Resource requirements and Time duration.
- Cost Management:
Ø Budgeting and cost Base line.
Ø Budget / Estimate V/s Actual.
Ø Maintain profitability of the project.
- Project Deliverables / Project Reporting.
Ø Project review meeting on regular intervals to review the status.
Ø Management reporting on the Project Cost Over runs.
Ø Handling of retrofit requests or after sales service.
Ø Submit monthly project report to all stake holders.
Ø Retrofit Management.
Ø JIT Management with Customer.
Ø Project QCD Management.
Ø Project Quality Performance.
- Project Closing:
Ø All contractual agreements and administration (e.g., financial and time tracking) related to the project are completed during the closure phase.
Ø Project Handover to after sales and Spares department.
Ø Lessons learned during the project are recorded for future reference.
**KSA (knowledge, Skills, Abilities) required for the job**:
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues and products
- Persuasive, encouraging and motivating
- Strong familiarity with project management software
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills
**Education & Experience**:
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/ Production/Electrical Engineering with minimum 8 years of experience.
- Experience in managing projects involving multi-site with project Value more than 12 M Euro.
- Preferably from Rail / Automotive sector.
- Problem solving tools - Root cause Analysis and PDCA.
**Job Type**: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
