Position Purpose
To a) be a passionate brighthearted host in all areas of the hotel and b) be responsible for a high level of cleanliness and tidiness in the Fitness Room, Changing Rooms and Pool Areas whilst at all times on duty ensuring the safety and security of guests
Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Execute duties within the fitness room, guest changing & restroom facilities, and pool area as assigned by the Housekeeping Mgr, Housekeeping Supervisors or General Manager
- Ensure fitness room, changing & restroom facilities and pool area look tidy, clean and welcoming for our guests at all times
- Organise the ‘work area’ in order to execute assigned tasks effectively & efficiently, to the required standard, and in line with our quality and service standards
- Report areas for improvement or repair to Housekeeping Mgr or GM without any delay
- Ensure fitness room is stocked up with water supply for guests, is equipped with cleaning spray for equipment and meets our Clean Stay standards
- Provide immediate assistance to guests in need of help (first aid) in pool area, fitness room, guest changing & restroom facilities
- Actively ask guests for feedback and look for areas of improvement when cleaning and communicating to guests in pool area, guest changing facilities or fitness room
- Be a reliable member of the team and a collaborative colleague whose passion for hosting can be observed every day
- Be aware of planned housekeeping team meetings, learning sessions and hotel huddles and attend as required
- Communicate clearly and constructively between colleagues and Guest Service FO team to help deliver brighthearted guest experiences
- Provide constructive suggestions to the Housekeeping Manager on product, processes or customer feedback
- Be a role model for others with regards to passionate, friendly guest service in line with HGI brand values and brand personality behaviours.
