**SPA Therapist**
You are at the heart of the hotel As a Spa Therapist, your primary responsibility is to deliver excellence in quality Thalassa Sea and Spa services and treaments to give guests/visitors/members in a timely, couteous and efficient manner.

**What you will be doing**:

- **Safety and Security**:

- Maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises
- Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
- Handling guest and employee inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints and problems to Thalassa Sea and Spa Supervisor/ Manager if no immediate solution can be found. Follow up with guests
- Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to management and security/safety personnel.
- Complete appropriate safety training and certifications to perform work tasks.
- Follow property specific procedures for handling emergency situations (e.g., evacuations, medical emergencies, natural disasters).
- **Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement**

**Secondary Functions**:Assist in La Plage Beach Club/ Kids Club and Thalassa Sea and Spa Reception when needed.
Maintain cleanliness of Thalassa Sea & Spa /Locker rooms as needed.
Adhere to Hotel standards of grooming and performance.
Maintain courteous relations with guests and associates.
Assist guests with retail product selection and home care advice.
Always allow sufficient advance notice (6 hours or more) prior to change requests for scheduled working shifts.
Team and department mandatory meetings must be recognized.
Hourly clock in/out procedures must be practiced and adhere to strict overtime policy presented by the Director of Thalassa Sea and Spa.
Assist in inventory control.
Recognize and adhere to ‘side work’ policy and duties.
Perform any other duties deemed necessary by Director Thalassa Sea &Spa / Supervisor. Never be without something to do
Help us achieve departmental goals through your professional, courteous and respectful manner to all guest and associates alike
To be familiar with the hotel’s alarm system, emergency plans and procedures for lost and found items.
To comply with safety regulations and procedures, and ensure that all team guests of the hotel observe safety precautions and use safety equipment.
To ensure that the Department's operational budget is strictly adhered to and that all costs are controlled and expenditures approved.
To comply with local legislation and be conversant and act in accordance with any such matters relating to your department.
To be flexible and to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities within the job capability as assigned, including redeployment to alternative departments/areas if required, to meet business demands and guest service needs.
To be available in front of the guests and associates
To maintain complete knowledge and comply with the hotel and departmental policies and procedures
Providing quality Thalassa Sea and Spa treatments to the scheduled requirement of the Thalassa Sea and Spa
Set up workstation with necessary supplies. Maintain cleanliness throughout shift.
Productivity and revenue awareness. Focused dedicated attitude towards achieving overall Thalassa Sea and Spa revenue target.
Meet with Thalassa Sea and Spa Manager/Supervisor prior to commencing each shift to review business status, daily target - PPPD. (Per person per day)
Strive to achieve daily target through Thalassa Sea and Spa services and retail sales.
Demonstrate full knowledge of all professional and retail product lines.
Accommodate all guest requests expediently and courteously. Follow up with designated hotel personnel to ensure completion of request.
Handle guest complaints by following the instant guest pacification procedures and insuring guest satisfaction.
Escort guests to and from treatments.

**Other Duties:Primary Functions**To be flexible with work hours.
To be fully conversant with first aid.

**Equipment and Supplies**Clean and maintain Thalassa Sea and Spa equipment and supplies.
Maintain continuous contact with internal and external suppliers.
Ensures that all equipment is properly maintained and in excellent working order at all times
Ensure safety usage of all equipments and materials at all time. Daily check their impeccable performance.
