**Job Title: Veterinary Assistant**

**Location: Manama, Bahrain**

**About Us**:We are a well-established, veterinary clinic in the heart of Bahrain. We're dedicated to providing the best in pet healthcare and are proud of our skilled, compassionate team. Due to our ongoing expansion, we are looking to hire a dedicated Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our veterinarians, ensuring that our clinic runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be involved in a variety of tasks including animal care, client communication, administrative duties, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our clients and their pets.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist veterinarians in exam rooms and surgeries
- Handle and restrain animals in a safe and compassionate manner
- Feed, bathe, and exercise animals under our care
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in examination rooms, kennels, and the entire facility
- Complete administrative tasks including but not limited to appointment scheduling, follow-up phone calls, and record keeping
- Educate and communicate effectively with pet owners about general pet care and medical procedures
- Ensure all veterinary supplies are adequately stocked

**Qualifications**:

- Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computer systems and software
- Passionate about animal care and welfare
- Must be physically able to lift and carry animals and other items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn and follow directions under supervision
- Bachelor's degree in a similar field or equivalent
