- Responsible for smooth functioning of Guest Internet, Property Management Systems - PMS, Point of Sale - POS, IPTV, Telephony systems and other management software’s.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
- Must know the Network fundamentals, general network setup and device configuration.
- Good knowledge of server hardware, Disk storage technology, I/O devices.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, including CAT6 cabling, wireless networks, network switches, WAN/LAN, domain controller and Active Directory.
- Extensive knowledge on Active Directory, Management and Implementations.
- Prepare & Implement Preventive Maintenance Schedule for all IT hardware & Software.
- Managing Disaster Recovery Process and ensuring regular daily backup is taken.
- Anti-virus setup and day to day support.
- Keep updated with latest hotel technology and security risks on a regular basis.
- Able to perform other IT or Systems related task assigned by the management.
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems.
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
- Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems.
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness.
- Running regular checks on network and data security.
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
- Running and sharing regular operation system reports with General Manager.
- Overseeing and determining time frames for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages.
- Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget.
- Experience with these Hospitality related systems (PMS, POS, Key card, PBX), Troubleshooting knowledge of CCTVs.
- Must be flexible in working hours, including weekends, evenings and holidays and Ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be mature, pleasant, courteous, cooperative and an enthusiastic team player who displays good human relations’ skills.

**Education**:
Equivalent Degree in Information Technology or computer science field. Along with in depth knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, Microsoft or Cisco certification.

**Experience**:
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in Hospitality, Operations, and IT support roles. Along with minimum of two (2) years of Supervisory / managerial experience.

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency in English (verbal and written), second language an asset.
- Previous Opera experience an asset.
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
