Key Responsibilities:

  • Fund Raising:

    • Oversee a team responsible for developing and marketing funds' mandates.
  • Executive Leadership and Expertise in Investments:
    • Serve as the primary investment executive, offering strategic advice on investment management and portfolio optimization.
    • Provide authoritative recommendations to the Investment Committee on investment mandates.
  • Compliance, Governance, Risk, and Internal Audit:
    • Ensure all funds comply with regulatory requirements, including KYC/AML and reporting standards.
    • Drive the development of robust investment and risk management policies.
    • Closely monitor and address Internal Audit observations within established timelines.
  • Project Deal Flow and Investment Management:
    • Evaluate and refine deal flows against approved investment strategies and budgets.
    • Conduct thorough due diligence on projects, incorporating financial, commercial, risk, tax, and operational assessments.
    • Present detailed analyses of fund performance, comparing measures to market benchmarks.
  • Performance Management:
    • Lead career growth initiatives for employees in Investments, ensuring their skills remain up-to-date.
    • Transfer knowledge to Bahraini colleagues, fostering their professional development.
