Job Title: Communications Systems Engineer

 

Job Description:

ITC Defense is seeking a highly skilled Communications Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the development and deployment of advanced communication systems, including border and coastal surveillance systems.

As a key member of our team, you will be working on international projects tied to Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases, with a focus on system architecture development, detailed design, integration, installation, testing, and training. You will work closely with subject matter experts to ensure that all aspects of the project are completed to the highest standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering, with a strong understanding of radar, EO/IR cameras, AIS, IP networks, LTE, microwave, HF, VHF, UHF, SATCOM, and common operational picture (COP) software. You should also have excellent technical writing and presentation skills, as well as experience with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7+ years' experience in systems engineering, with a strong understanding of complex programs
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience planning and performing systems engineering analysis related to border and coastal surveillance
  • Solid technical writing and presentation development capability
  • Experience with Extreme Networks (EXOS Switch and Routing certified preferred)
  • Strong coordination, organization, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 100 percent of the time CONUS and OCONUS
