Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Medical Network Team Leader to support the success of our Medical Network in Bahrain. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our operations by managing the development, maintenance, and evaluation of our healthcare provider network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and control the network development and management operations.
- Lead and conduct benchmarking exercises to ensure we have in place appropriate networks, providers, and discounts/tariffs.
- SUPPORT all Med Net operations by ensuring effective coordination with healthcare service providers and fulfilling information and documentation requirements.
- LEAD the conducting of review and monitoring initiatives to facilitate optimum control of fraud, waste, and abuse of health care benefits.
- C coordinate internally with various stakeholders to ensure appropriate actions are taken with medical providers.
- MET regularly with Providers to strengthen business relationships.
- SERVE as a mediator between Med Net departments and providers to resolve network-related complaints/issues.
- MONITOR Provider training/orientation programs effectively, focusing on existing network providers.
- Manage & monitor accurate updates of Med Next with data relating to addresses, discounts, creation of new codes, contracts, and provider data.
Your Profile:
To succeed in this role, you should have a Diploma in Business or Hospital Administration / Medical Doctor OR a Diploma in any allied healthcare sciences.
A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar environment in the TPA/medical insurance sector, including 2 years of network experience preferably in the GCC region.
You should also have knowledge related to medical terminology, ICD & CPT Codes, and industry knowledge related to local healthcare services systems.
