About the Role

This is a highly rewarding opportunity for an experienced teacher to join our education team. As a Classroom Educator, you will be responsible for implementing the SABIS curriculum and philosophy in your teaching practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver high-quality lessons to students using the provided lesson plans, adapting them as needed to meet the needs of your class.
  2. Assess student progress through regular marking and feedback, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
  3. Maintain open lines of communication with colleagues and school leaders, sharing best practices and contributing to a positive school culture.
  4. Develop and implement engaging activities that promote student participation and motivation, enhancing their educational experience.
  5. Collaborate with other teachers to plan and deliver cross-curricular projects, fostering a sense of community and teamwork.
  6. Take ownership of your professional development, attending training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  7. Contribute to the smooth running of the school by participating in duties such as testing students, substituting for absent teachers, and organizing student events.

Ideal Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
  2. English Proficiency.
  3. 1+ years of teaching experience.
  4. Professional behavior and ethical conduct.
  5. Delivering results.
  6. Continuous learning and improvement.
  7. Accountability and taking ownership.
  8. Excellent communication skills.
