The Medical Director of the De-Addiction and Mental Health Center plays a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care for patients with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and oversight of all medical services within the facility.
- Implement clinical protocols and practice guidelines for addiction and psychiatric treatment.
- Lead the multidisciplinary treatment team and facilitate case conferences.
- Oversee detoxification protocols and medication-assisted treatment programs.
- Evaluate and approve treatment plans for complex cases.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance and improvement programs.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with current best practices.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements (NHRA, LMRA, MOH, etc.).
- Participate in strategic planning and program development.
- Recruit, supervise, and evaluate physicians and advanced practice providers.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to medical team members.
- Foster a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Represent the center at community events and professional conferences.
- Stay current with emerging research and treatment modalities in addiction medicine and psychiatry.
- Advocate for evidence-based approaches to substance use and mental health treatment.
A successful candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent interpersonal skills, and proficiency in managing complex medical and psychiatric conditions.
