Main Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and preferences.
  2. Develop new product concepts and prototypes based on research findings.
  3. Analyze trial results to make necessary adjustments to ingredients, formulations, processes, and equipment.
  4. Create samples of products when requested.
  5. Design each product with consideration of shelf life, allergens, ingredients cost, and process.

  7. Properly handle and maintain all equipment within the R&D space.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CDP or sous chef is required.
  2. The candidate must be able to initiate, plan, and implement new product development projects.
  3. Familiarity with recipes and formulations to create and evaluate product samples is essential.
  4. Experience with multiple cuisines or fusion cuisines is highly valued.
  5. Strong communication skills in English are necessary.
  6. Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) is also required.
