Network Security Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Network Security Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of cybersecurity products. You will leverage your strong understanding of network and systems architecture, coupled with your experience in Microsoft environments, to ensure the effective implementation and operation of security solutions.

Comprehensive training on cybersecurity products will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Test, Deploy, Configure, and Manage Cybersecurity Products: You will be responsible for testing, deploying, configuring, and managing cybersecurity products to ensure they meet the required standards.
  2. Troubleshoot Technical Issues: You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cybersecurity product deployments and network/system security.
  3. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.
  4. Document Deployment Processes: You will document deployment processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  5. Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: You will stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
  6. Provide Technical Support: You will provide technical support and guidance to end-users.
  7. Assist in Security Policy Development: You will assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Related Field: You must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven Experience in Network and Systems Administration: You must have proven experience in network and systems administration.
  • Strong Understanding of Network Protocols and Security Concepts: You must have a strong understanding of network protocols, topologies, and security concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls, etc.).
  • Hands-on Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory: You must have hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory.
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity Principles and Best Practices: You must have familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: You must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in English: You must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: You must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: You must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cybersecurity Certifications: Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, Cisco, Microsoft Certified: Security, etc.)
  • Experience with Vulnerability Scanning and Penetration Testing Tools: Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools
  • Experience with Other Security-Related Software: Experience with other security-related software
  • OT Environment Experience: Experience in OT environments is a plus
