Nexcel Computer Solutions Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Manager to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust security solutions that protect our on-premises and cloud infrastructure, applications, and data from various security threats.

About the Role:

  • We are looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience in the field of information security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the system and ensuring its availability 24/7.
  • Maintaining best practices and security standards.
  • Designing and implementing security solutions that protect the organization's on-prem / cloud infrastructure, applications, and data from security threats.
  • Conducting regular security assessments of the organization's on-prem / cloud environment to identify potential security vulnerabilities and recommending appropriate remediation measures.
  • Configuring and maintaining various security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and security information and event management (SIEM) systems to ensure optimal protection against security threats.
  • Regularly monitoring syslogs and taking corrective actions if any security breaches or vulnerabilities are found in the logs.
  • Running VAPT tools to mitigate security vulnerabilities.
  • Managing access controls for cloud resources, including user authentication and authorization, identity and access management (IAM), and network security groups (NSGs).
  • Monitoring the on-prem / cloud environment for security incidents and responding promptly to any security breaches or threats.
  • Creating and maintaining security policies and procedures for the organization's on-prem / cloud environment, including disaster recovery plans, incident response plans, and security awareness training for employees.
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest security trends and best practices to ensure that the organization's on-prem / cloud environment remains secure against evolving security threats.
  • Reviewing and applying WAF policies to protect against DDoS and application-related attacks.
  • Testing WAF rules and ensuring they block malicious traffic.

Qualifications and Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in information security.
